八月二十七日、池田氏・坂井氏より申し聞かされたこと：
殿様が御上京なされることへの恐悦（お祝い申し上げること）として、町年寄・丁代・帯刀御用金・紺屋頭が罷り出るよう、来月二日にこの旨を申し渡しておいた。
英語訳
On the 27th day of the 8th month, the following was communicated by Messrs. Ikeda and Sakai:
Regarding the expression of respectful congratulations upon the lord's journey to Kyoto, it was announced that the town elders (machidoshiyori), the district representatives (chōdai), the sword-bearing official fund holders (taitō goyōkin), and the dye-shop guild heads (kōnya gashira) are to present themselves on the 2nd day of the following month. This matter was duly conveyed to them.
