Regarding the above: in the year of the Rat (*ne*), a petition to discontinue [the levy] was submitted by the town (*chōkata*). Furthermore, from this point [the matter was handled] in Kahiyama Village (*Kayama-mura*) in the same manner as described above, and a formal petition was accordingly submitted.
