右を差し上げ候ところ、名を六つ過ぎに左の通り（御達し有り）。
来たる年頭の丁代御用意、永々御月見の分は惣代にて相済む御義に付き、右名前同じく御調べ、明十八日五半時までに御役所へ御差し出しなさるべく候。以上。

Regarding this matter, please also notify the recipients of the town administrative stipend (o-shiokuri), and I would like them likewise to submit [their names] at the earliest possible time. Respectfully submitted.

[Response:] The foregoing has been duly compiled and submitted. [The list] was handed in at the Office at the Hour of the Cock [around 2:00 p.m.].
Upon submitting the above, the following [instructions] were received after the Hour of the Rooster [around 6:00 p.m.]:
Regarding the coming New Year's greetings, the [duty of] chōdai go-yōi [preparing the town representatives' duties] — as it has long been the custom that the matter of o-tsukimi [monthly observances] be handled by a general representative (sōdai) — please compile the said names [of those representatives] as well, and submit them to the Office by the Hour of the Ox and a half [around 5:30 a.m.] on the eighteenth, tomorrow. Respectfully submitted.
