From the 28th day of the 11th month, [instructions from] Izawa Tomiemon: Regarding the New Year's greetings for the coming Year of the Ram, in accordance with established practice (ikakari no tōri), all persons are to assemble and prepare [the necessary arrangements]; [they are to] submit [the prepared materials] duly compiled. Five sets of [the document concerning] the assistance regulations (o-tasuke-hō go-soku) have been recorded and compiled as indicated on the left.
