一 在番ニ罷出御用無之逗留一ヶ月ニ不及御

現代語訳
【右丁】
一 在番に出向いたが御用がなく滞留が一ヶ月に満たずに御返しとなった節は半年分の引き方を御用捨てとし、滞留が三十日を越えた場合はその年中一杯無引きで支給すべきことである。
但し、たとえ極月半ば過ぎに在番に出向き、翌年正月半ばまでに帰還し両年にわたることがあっても、三十日以内の滞留であれば出向いた年のみ半年分を御用捨てとすべきことである。

一 俵数から地方（知行地）に御直しを下された節は新知に準じ、その年中一杯地方高を無引きで支給することである。

However, even if one departs for garrison duty after mid-December and returns by mid-January of the following year, spanning two years, if the stay is within thirty days, half a year's deductions shall be waived only for the year of departure.
