恐れながら書面をもって願い出ます
私は今まで御水役を勤め鍛冶職を仕っておりましたが、経営が立ち行かなくなりましたので、職分を辞して江戸表へ御奉公に出たいと存じます。つきましては御水役の御免許を下されますよう願い上げます。何卒御慈悲をもって願いの通り仰せ付けを下されれば、ありがたい仕合せと存じます。以上
