一、私は近年病身となり、生活を続けることが難しく、暮らしに困窮しております。そのため家名の件を男子長太郎に譲り渡し、私は近藤河内守様の御支配所である上穂宿の親類与三郎方に厄介になりに参りたく存じます。つきましては御宗門印形を無判にしてくださいますよう、お願い申し上げます。右の趣旨について御慈悲をもってお願い申し上げます通りにお仰せ付けくださいましたなら、ありがたい次第と存じます。以上 鉾持町

One: I have become ill in recent years and find it difficult to continue making a living, suffering hardship in my daily life. Therefore, I wish to transfer the family name to my son Chōtarō, and I myself would like to go and live as a dependent with my relative Yozaburō in Kamiho-juku under the jurisdiction of Lord Kondō Kawachi-no-kami. Regarding this matter, I request that you nullify my religious sect seal. With your compassion, if you would grant this petition as requested, it would be most grateful. End Hoko-machi district

As there are family connections with that household, I have now discussed internally about sending him as an adopted son. Therefore, I submit this petition.
