恐れながら口上書をもって願い上げます御事
一 私には男子がおりませんので、上伊那郷平出村の長兵衛の弟
乙吉は内縁関係もございますので、もらい受けて養子にいたしたく
内談いたしました。これにより願い上げます。
右の趣旨を御慈悲をもって願いの通り仰せ付けて
いただけますならば、ありがたい仕合わせと存じます。以上

一 上田屋市兵衛は去る文化十四丑年に亡くなりましたが、
跡式を相続する男子がおりませんので、この度上伊那郷
平出村の仁左衛門の弟治兵衛は内縁関係もございますので、もらい受けて
市兵衛の妹いせに妻合わせ、跡式を相続させたく内談
いたしました。これにより願い上げます。
右の趣旨を御慈悲をもって願いの通り仰せ付けていただけ
ますならば、ありがたい仕合わせと存じます。以上 鉾持町

One As I have no male heir, I wish to adopt Otokichi, the younger brother of
Chōbei from Hiraide Village in Kami-Ina County, as there is also a romantic
relationship involved. We have discussed this matter internally and hereby submit this petition.

One Uedaya Ichibei passed away in the past year of Bunka 14, Year of the Ox, but
as there is no male heir to succeed to his business, we wish to adopt
Jihei, younger brother of Jinzaemon from Hiraide Village in Kami-Ina County,
as there is a romantic relationship involved, and have him marry
Ichibei's sister Ise to succeed to the business. We have discussed this matter
internally and hereby submit this petition.
