乍恐以口上書奉願上候御事
私伯父善吉儀不勝手ニ而渡世難取続去ㇽ文化
五辰年家出仕候ニ付無拠欠落御願仕候所同人
老母是迠者私父七郎兵衛介抱仕罷在候處
七郎兵衛相果私儀者売子奉公仕罷在候ニ付
至此節介抱仕候者無之難儀至極仕候然ㇽ處
右善吉此節ハ江戸表ニ罷在実躰ニ渡世仕候
ニ付悔先非帰参御願申上老母介抱仕度段
申参候仍之奉願上候
右之趣以御慈悲奉願上候通被為仰付被下置

恐れながら口上書をもって願い上げます御事
私の伯父善吉は生活が困窮して暮らしを続けることができず、去る文化
五辰年に家出いたしましたので、やむを得ず欠落の願いをいたしました。その
老母はこれまで私の父七郎兵衛が介抱してまいりましたが、
七郎兵衛が亡くなり、私は奉公に出ておりますので
この度介抱する者がおらず、大変困っております。そうしたところ
その善吉は現在は江戸にいて、まじめに暮らしをしております
ので、前非を悔いて帰参を願い出て、老母を介抱したいと
申してまいりました。これにより願い上げます。
右の趣旨を御慈悲をもって願いの通り仰せ付けていただけ
ますならば、ありがたい仕合わせと存じます。以上 鉾持町

恐れながら口上書をもって願い上げます御事
一 権現社の境内において、来る六月十八日に子供が集まって花富を
興行したく存じます。これにより願い上げます。

ありがたい仕合わせと願い上げます。以上

今年から花富は上下町内一人ずつということで休んでおりましたが、なお役人中が寄り合い十町一流で
行うよう仰せになりましたので、十町で富を行います。世話番は二町ずつ立てて回します。今年の
世話番は本町・横町です。願書については今年は差し迫っておりますので、町内で提出いたします。

My uncle Zenkichi fell into financial hardship and could not continue making a living, so he left home in the past year of Bunka 5, Year of the Dragon, and we had no choice but to petition for his absence. His elderly mother had been cared for by my father Shichirōbei until now, but Shichirōbei passed away, and I am working as a servant, so there is no one to care for her at this time, which causes great difficulty. However, the said Zenkichi is now in Edo living an honest life, so he has come forward regretting his past wrongs and wishing to petition for his return to care for his elderly mother. Therefore, I submit this petition.

From this year, the flower lottery was suspended with one person per upper and lower town district, but the officials have gathered and ordered that it be conducted as one stream across ten towns, so we will conduct the lottery across ten towns. Supervisors will be appointed two towns at a time in rotation. This year's supervisors are Honmachi and Yokomachi. Regarding the petition documents, as this year's schedule is pressing, we submit them within the town districts.
