殊難病之儀病発ゟ祈願祈禱多分之物入ニ而内借者
勿論御拝借等相嵩其上老人當歳之小児厄介多
必至与難立行ニ付甚右ヱ門殿御親父叟船様実意を以
格別之執計被下候ニ相任セ家財雑具売代成尤母
病人小児為養育金子追々御預り被下候處文政四巳
年無拠義ニ而内金弐拾両請取残金四拾両預ヶ置候處

私は黒河内《見せ消ち：甚右衛門殿｜叟船様》を相手取ってお願い申し上げましたところ、金子出入一件について
ご吟味中でございますが、別紙済口証文を差し上げます通り、仲裁人が立ち入り
双方納得にて内済の熟談が調い、ひとえにご威光のおかげと、ありがたい
幸せと存じます。つきまして、お願いの筋をお下げ渡しくださいますようお願い申し上げます。
この趣旨について、ご慈悲をもってお願い申し上げます通りお聞き届け
いただけましたら、ありがたい幸せと存じます。以上 鉾持町杉野屋

鉾持町杉野屋長左衛門の女房は黒河内甚右衛門殿を相手取り、厄介者の
養育金の元利滞納で難渋し出訴いたしました趣意を申し上げます。
文化十二年亥年に長左衛門が風邪と乱心をいたし、造酒商売ができなくなり、
特に難病のため、病気になってから祈願祈祷で多くの出費があり、内借りは
もちろん御拝借等がかさみ、その上老人と当歳の小児の厄介が多く、
どうしても立ち行かなくなったため、甚右衛門殿のお親父叟船様が真心をもって
格別のお取り計らいをくださることにお任せし、家財雑具売却代金はもちろん、母や
病人、小児の養育のための金子を次々とお預かりくださいましたところ、文政四巳
年にやむを得ない事情で内金二十両を受け取り、残金四十両を預けておきましたが、
どのような訳でございましょうか、午年以来、最初のお心積もりとは食い違いが生じ

currently under your investigation, as shown in the attached settlement certificate, mediators intervened
and both parties reached agreement through private settlement negotiations, which I consider entirely due to your authority and a most grateful
blessing. Therefore, I petition that you dismiss the case.
Regarding this matter, if you would graciously grant my request

Submitted certificate of settlement for money dispute
Hokomotimachi Suginoya Chōzaemon's wife brought suit against Kurokawachi Jinuemon-dono regarding
the overdue principal and interest of support money for dependents, causing hardship. I shall explain the circumstances.
In Bunka 12, Year of the Boar, Chōzaemon suffered from illness and mental disorder, making it impossible to continue his sake brewing business.
Due to particularly severe illness, from the onset of the disease, prayers and religious rituals required considerable expenses, and private borrowing,
not to mention official loans, accumulated. Moreover, with many dependents including elderly and infants of the current year,
it became absolutely impossible to manage. Therefore, Jinuemon-dono's father Rōsen-sama, with sincere intentions,
provided extraordinary assistance. Entrusting ourselves to this, we sold household goods and miscellaneous items, and naturally
received advance payments for the support of mother, patients, and children. However, in Bunsei 4, Year of the Snake,
due to unavoidable circumstances, we received an advance of twenty ryō, leaving forty ryō on deposit, but
for whatever reason, since the Year of the Horse, there has been a discrepancy with the original intentions
