現代語訳

恐れながら口上書をもって願い上げ奉る件

一、私はこの度豆腐商売を始めたく存じます。型箱の件については、木の印にて今まで木曾屋善吉の型箱を引き継がせていただきたく存じます。これにより願い上げ奉ります。

右の趣、何卒御慈悲をもって願い上げ候通り仰せ付けて下され置かれましたら、ありがたき幸せに存じ奉ります。以上　　　　　鉾持町
