恐れながら口上書をもって願い上げ奉る件

一、私の従弟、鉾持町里屋の傳蔵の件、商売見習いのため
　　甲府穴山町の萬屋藤左衛門方へ売子奉公に
　　参り、しばらく相勤め申したく存じ奉り候。これにより相勤め候
　　期間中、宗門改めの際の印形無判を成し下し置かれ候様
　　願い上げ奉り候。
　　右の趣き、御慈悲をもって願い上げ候通り
　　仰せ付けられ下し置かれ候えば、有り難き仕合わせと存じ奉り候。以上

Item: Regarding my cousin Denzō of Satoya in Hokomotemachi, who wishes to serve as an apprentice clerk (urikobōkō) at Mannya Tōzaemon's establishment in Anayamamachi, Kōfu, to learn commerce, and to work there for a while. Therefore, I humbly request that during his service period, he be granted an unmarked seal certificate for the religious sect inspection.

I humbly request that you grant this petition with your compassion as stated above, for which I would be most grateful. Respectfully submitted.
