右之品ニ而まんちう数百弐拾程出来申候
左候へ者壱ツ代三文七分程ニ相成申候ニ付代四文
売出し申度奉願上候

合計二匁九分七厘五毛百三十六文
これは四百五十八文に相当する
右の品物で饅頭を百二十個ほど作ることができます。
そうしますと一個あたり三文七分ほどになりますので、四文で
売り出したく願い上げます。
辰十一月 菓子屋一同
右の件は十日に高橋磯左衛門殿のお取次で差し上げたところ、十一月二十七日のご沙汰では、
これまで通り三文五分と四文の両様に作って売り出すよう
仰せ付けられました。なおできるだけ安値にして心得違いのないよう
確実に申し付けるとのご沙汰を清水氏から仰せ付けられましたので、伊沢屋宗右衛門
と養治を呼んで申し渡しました。

恐れながら口上書をもって願い上げます件
私は振売商売をしたく存じます。これにより
願い上げます。
右の趣旨について、ご慈悲をもって願い上げます通りお
仰せ付けいただけましたならば、ありがたい仕合せと存じます。以上

札をお渡しした旨の届けがございました。

With the above ingredients, we can make about 120 manju (steamed buns).
In that case, each would cost about 3 mon 7 bu, so we wish to
sell them at 4 mon each.
Dragon 11th month All confectionery sellers
The above matter was submitted on the 10th through the intermediation of Mr. Takahashi Isozaemon, and the official response on the 27th day of the 11th month stated that
we should continue as before, making and selling both varieties at 3 mon 5 bu and 4 mon
as ordered. Furthermore, we were instructed to make prices as low as possible and to ensure there are no misunderstandings.
This official response was conveyed by Mr. Shimizu, so we called Izawaya Souemon
and Yoji to relay these instructions.
