私の息子勘三郎は男子がおりませんので、松平丹波守様の
お預かり所箕輪領長岡村の織右衛門の弟文七と申す者と
内縁関係もございますので、もらい受けて勘三郎の娘まつへ婿合わせ
いたしたく存じております。ついては願い上げ申し上げます。
右の趣旨について御慈悲をもって願い上げます通りお聞き届け
いただけましたなら、ありがたい仕合わせと存じます。以上

御奉行所様 町代 藤右衛門
右の願書を十日に清水氏のお取次ぎで差し上げたところ、すぐにお聞き届けとなったので、十一日朝に
町代へ申し伝えました。

My son Kanzaburō has no male heir, so regarding Bunshichi,
the younger brother of Oriemon from Nagaoka Village in Minowa Domain
under Lord Matsudaira Tamba-no-kami's jurisdiction, since there is already
an informal engagement, I wish to have him marry my son Kanzaburō's daughter Matsu
as an adopted son-in-law. Therefore, I humbly submit this petition.
Regarding the above matter, if you would mercifully grant
my petition as requested, I would be most grateful. The above.
