恐れながら口上書をもって願い上げ申し上げる件
勢利町紀伊国屋勝七の息子民治良は、当年十五歳で、
大工職を習わせたく存じますので、年季《見せ消ち：八｜》七年と定めて
私のもとで弟子にしたく存じます。ついては願い上げ申し上げます。
右の趣旨について御慈悲をもって願い上げます通りお聞き届け
いただけましたなら、ありがたい仕合わせと存じます。以上

御奉行所様 町代 藤右衛門
右の願書を二十五日に高橋氏のお取次ぎで差し上げたところ、四月晦日に印形を持参して
御普請方役所へ出向くようお達しがあり、町代へ申し渡しました。

私は商売の調子が悪くなりましたので、江戸小網町二丁目の
橋本屋半三郎方へ五ヶ年季で奉公に出向き
たく存じます。ついては右の年限中、御宗門改めを無判扱いにしていただけ
ますよう願い上げ申し上げます。
右の趣旨について御慈悲をもって願い上げます通りお聞き届け
いただけましたなら、ありがたい仕合わせと存じます。以上

I wish to have him learn carpentry, so I would like to set a term of 《crossed out: eight｜》seven years
and take him as an apprentice under me. Therefore, I humbly submit this petition.
Regarding the above matter, if you would mercifully grant

as an indentured servant for five years at Hashimoto-ya Hanzaburou's establishment in Koami-machi 2-chome, Edo.
Therefore, I petition that during the said term, I be exempted from religious inspection registration.
