私儀唯今迄藍瓶四拾弐瓶内拾九瓶川下郷
荒井村江越細工仕罷在候處此度無人ニ相成ニ付

私はこれまで藍瓶四十二瓶のうち十九瓶を川下郷
荒井村へ持参して染物細工をして参りましたが、この度無人となりましたので
八瓶減らして十一瓶でこれまで通り染物細工をいたしたく
存じます。ついてはお願い申し上げます。
右の趣旨について御慈悲をもってお願い申し上げます通りお仰せつけ
いただけましたなら、ありがたい仕合わせに存じます。以上

Humbly submitting this oral petition
I have been going to Arai Village in Kawashimo-gō with nineteen out of forty-two indigo vats
to perform dyeing work, but this time the place has become unmanned, so
I wish to reduce by eight vats and continue dyeing work with eleven vats as before.
Therefore, I submit this petition.
Regarding the above matter, if you would graciously grant
my petition as requested, it would be a most grateful blessing. The above
