是迄之通被差置候間古
金銀所持之者ハ早々差
出引替可申候若停止以
後古金銀通用いたし
候歟又ハ古金銀貯置不
引替者於有之は吟味

一、古い二朱判についても近々
通用停止が
仰せ出される予定ですので、古い二朱判を所持
している者は、この機会に精を出して引替所
に差し出し、引き替えを申し出てください
一、古い金銀の通用停止
以後も、遠国その他やむを得ない
事情で引き替えが残った古い金銀もある
かと思われますので、引替所については
古い二朱判の通用中は先ず
これまでの通り設置しておきます。古い
金銀を所持している者は早々に差し
出して引き替えを申し出てください。もし停止以
後に古い金銀を通用させたり
または古い金銀を貯め置いて
引き替えない者がいた場合は、吟味
の上、厳重に処罰します

goes into effect, there may still be old gold and silver coins
remaining unexchanged in distant provinces and other places due to unavoidable
circumstances. Therefore, regarding exchange offices,
while old nishu coins are still in circulation, we will first
continue to maintain them as before. Those who
possess old gold and silver coins should promptly bring
them forward and apply for exchange. If anyone uses old gold and silver coins after the prohibition
or hoards old gold and silver coins
without exchanging them, they will be investigated
and severely punished.
