右の趣旨を町中に触れ回ること。

右の書付が出されたので、行司預町丁代の
右左衛門を呼び出して申し渡し、十町を回らせた。
文政十一子年正月から
この度、東海道四日市宿が困窮
のため、人馬賃銭並びに渡船
賃とも割増について、左の通り受け取るべき旨を
申し渡す。
去る未年二月から来る子年
正月まで中五ヶ年 東海道
の間、人馬賃銭都合 四日市宿
五割増を申し付けていたところ、
なお、来る子年二月から来る
巳年正月まで中五ヶ年、
これまで通り五割増とする。
右の割増銭について申し渡すので
その意を得られたい。

From the 1st month of Bunsei 11, Rat year
This time, due to the financial difficulties
of Yokkaichi post station on the Tōkaidō,
regarding the increase in porter and horse fees as well as ferry
charges, the following shall be received as instructed:
From the 2nd month of the previous Sheep year to the
1st month of the coming Rat year, during the Tōkaidō
intervening five years, porter and horse fees Yokkaichi
were increased by a total of 50 percent. post station
Furthermore, from the 2nd month of the coming Rat year
to the 1st month of the coming Snake year,
for five years, 50 percent increase as before.
Regarding the above additional fees, this is
communicated for your understanding.
