三月ゟ弥通用停止ニ候之
間停止以後堅通用致

後も遠国其外無拠
引替残古弐朱判も可

来丑年十二月迄は是
迄之通被差置候間古弐朱
判所持之者ハ無遅滞差
出引替可申候事
但金銀引替所之義も
可同然為事
一弐朱判引替之儀国々
之内ニは最寄引替所迄
道法相場候場所も有之
持道入用も相掛り可申

三月より完全に通用停止となる
ので、停止以後は堅く通用させては
【左丁】
ならない。もし停止以後に古二
朱判を通用させた場合、または
貯え置いて引き替えないまま持っている
者については吟味の上、厳しく申し
付けることとする
一、古二朱判通用停止以
後も、遠国その他やむを得ない
理由で引き替えが残っている古二朱判も
あるだろうということで、引き替えは
来る丑年十二月まではこれ
まで通り据え置かれるので、古二朱
判所持の者は遅滞なく差し
出して引き替えること
ただし金銀引替所についても
同様とすること
一、二朱判引き替えの件について、国々の
内には最寄りの引替所まで
道のりが遠い場所もあり、
持参の道中入用もかかるであろう

forbidden. If anyone uses old nishu-ban coins after the prohibition, or if anyone hoards them without exchanging them, they will be investigated and severely punished.
1. Even after the prohibition of old nishu-ban coins goes into effect, there may still be old nishu-ban coins remaining unexchanged in distant provinces and other places due to unavoidable circumstances. Therefore, the exchange period will be extended until the 12th month of the coming Year of the Ox as before, so those possessing old nishu-ban coins should present them for exchange without delay.
However, the same applies to gold and silver exchange offices.
1. Regarding the exchange of nishu-ban coins, in some provinces the distance to the nearest exchange office is considerable, and travel expenses for carrying them there would also be incurred.
