ということで、古二朱判を差し出す
者の住所から銀座並びにその
最寄りの引替所への道のりが五
里余りになると思われるので、古二朱
判二百両以上を差し出す者
には里数往復分として百両につき
銀一匁ずつの割合をもって
里数並びに二朱判の高に応じて
諸入用を下賜することになっているので、御
領は御代官、私領は領主・地
頭において諸入用を相願う場合は取り調べて
江戸銀座へ申し置くようにする
こと。もし当人またはその身寄り
を以って直接銀座へ申し立てたい旨
申すならば、その通りにしても差し支え
ないので、いずれにしても手厚く
世話をして、古二朱判所
持の者は早々に引き替えを

For this reason, since the distance from the residence of those presenting old nishu-ban coins to the Ginza and its nearest exchange offices would be more than five ri, for those presenting old nishu-ban coins worth 200 ryō or more, travel expenses will be provided at the rate of one monme of silver per 100 ryō, calculated according to the round-trip distance and the amount of nishu-ban coins. For shogunal domains, the deputy magistrate (daikan), and for private domains, the domain lord or local magistrate should investigate and report to Edo Ginza when requesting these expenses. If the person or their relatives wish to apply directly to the Ginza, that is also acceptable. In either case, provide thorough assistance so that holders of old nishu-ban coins can exchange them
