一地券を質入書入等致し候節地所も

一、地券を質入れ・書入れなどする際、地所も金主の方へ渡し、地主が小作をするか、または金主の方で自作するか、あるいは他人に小作をさせるかは、相対で自由に決めてよいこと

一、すべて質入れ・書入れなどをする際、地所を金主の方へ渡しても地主の方に残しても相対次第で

自由であるが、年貢諸役は地所を支配管理する者の方で務めなければならないこと
ただし金主の方で年貢諸役を務める場合は、その旨を届け出て証文を差し出すこと

一、地券を地主の方に残したまま、地所のみを質入れ・書入れすることはできないこと

Article 3
1. When mortgaging land certificates, the land may also be transferred to the creditor, and whether the landowner becomes a tenant farmer, or the creditor cultivates it himself, or has others work it as tenant farmers, shall be freely decided by mutual agreement between the parties.
Article 4
1. In all cases of mortgage transactions, whether the land is transferred to the creditor or remains with the landowner is at the discretion of mutual agreement,

but the land tax and various duties must be fulfilled by whoever controls and manages the land.
However, when the creditor fulfills the land tax and various duties, notification must be given and documentary evidence must be submitted.
Article 5
1. It is not permitted to mortgage only the land while keeping the land certificate with the landowner.
Article 6
1. Land may be bought and sold regardless of whether the parties are nobility (kazoku), former samurai (shizoku), or commoners (heimin).
